Welcome to the launch, or re-launch rather, of my blog. Above you will see a picture of the reason why I have been so behind in posting anything- my beautiful baby girl, Audrey. Isn't she adorable? Look at those cheeks....and eyes. She has my husband's eyes......Wait, where was I? Oh yes, my Grand Reopening! I decided it would be better for me to begin anew with my pursuit of keeping a blog and try to incorporate all of the things I love. Where my previous blog centered on fashion, this one will incorporate all things creative and lovely.
The chill in the air has gotten me thinking about the upcoming holidays and how I can decorate my little home and what gifts I can give this Christmas. I have been reading many diy/decorating blogs and am filled with fun ideas that I would like to share with you.
The first thing I'd like to try is a garland for the Christmas tree. I recently read a post on decor8blog.com about a new line at West Elm by David Stark filled with decorations that all look very handmade and I thought, “I can make that”. So that is exactly what I shall do. I'll let you know how the progression goes.
Stayed tuned for posts about Audrey and her birth. She was born on September 6th. Yep, I was in labor on Labor Day. Isn't God funny?
